PTC ASIA the Meeting Point for Global Power Transmission Industry

PTC ASIA, the 16th International Trade Fair for Power Transmission and Control, celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2011 with a record turnout. Nearly 60,000 visitors from 80 countries and regions around the world journeyed to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in China from October 25-28, 2011, to see all the latest developments the power industry has to offer. Regal Beloit Corp., the parent company of Durst, joined a total of 1,950 exhibitors presenting their products and solutions for fluid and mechanical power transmission.

Nelson Cui, Durst’s sales representative for the Asian markets, was impressed by the delegations and buyers in attendance at the four-day event.

Regal Beloit has increased its marketing on the Chinese mainland to take advantage of that nation’s numerous business opportunities. As the world’s second-largest power transmission and control exhibition, PTC ASIA is the perfect venue to meet potential clients and expand the Regal Beloit product lines, including Durst drives, in the booming Asian markets.

Nelson Cui, who represents Durst products in Asia, was on hand during the four-day show. Nelson says attendance was strong and booth traffic was never slow.

“It was a great show,” he says. “People who visited the Regal Beloit exhibit saw our advanced skills and high-precision components.”
