Durst Appoints New Manufacturer’s Representative for New England States
CLINTON, Wis. — The Durst division of Regal Beloit Corporation today announced that it has named Northgate Technologies, Inc. as its newest manufacturer’s representative covering the northeastern United States. As a new representative, the firm will offer and support Durst’s innovative gear drives and transmissions throughout Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont and upstate New York.
Established in 1989, Simsbury, Conn.-based Northgate Technologies is a multi-person firm with a highly motivated team of sales professionals.
“We are very enthusiastic about having an experienced group of experts like Northgate Technologies representing our solutions to their customers,” said John Locarno, Global Sales and Marketing Manager. “Greg Werk, President of Northgate Technologies, has vast industry knowledge from many years of experience. Our new relationship with his company greatly strengthens our representation in the Northeast and allows us to take advantage of its expertise.”
Locarno noted that Northgate Technologies would be able to build better relationships with Durst customers through its previous experience representing Regal Beloit’s Hub City, Inc. gearboxes and Marathon Electric motors and generators.
“It’s a great fit,” Locarno said. “Northgate Technologies has a strong technical understanding of its customers’ needs and of the manufacturers’ product lines it represents. Northgate Technologies’ commitment to its customers is a perfect complement to Durst’s commitment to quality in products and services.”
